What is a Virtual Race?
Here’s what you need to know! A virtual race is a race that can be ran or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on a trail, on a treadmill, or on a track. You get to run your race at your own pace and time it yourself. You can even run the normal route of the race within Piedmont. Email

The Fun Run distance is 1 mile and the 5K is race is 3.1 miles. You can run with your family or a small group of friends. WE ENCOURAGE ALL RACE PARTICIPATS TO CONTINUE PRACTICING SOCIAL DISTANCING.
Participants who register for the race will receive a bib, race bag with t-shirt and medal.

10th Annual MVES Race for Education Fun Run/5K

MVES is having its 10th Annual Race for Education. This 5K and 1 mile Fun run promotes and models healthy living for our children as well as showcases our running club members. Additionally, it is a PTO fundraiser with a specific goal to raise funds allocated for educational resources and enrichment programs for Mountain View students.

The T-Shirt Logo will be unveiled the week of the race as we hold a design contest for our students and don’t announce the winner until the shirts are printed.

The race is VIRTUAL and will start and finish wherever works best for you and your family.

Kilted Timing utilizes Jaguar Timing systems providing *LIVE* real time results and finish line photos to our participants. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
